We reached Honnavar at 6.30 am, we went there by bus. The weather is not cool and hot .we wait for Savitha near the road. Then she came and she took every ones bag with her car.

Our team moved to Savitas house. After our breakfast we discussed, about the tribes and what we are going to do there, each one got different subject to research. After that we spoke with Hunny amma Savitha was the mediator for us. Hunny amma she is in Halakki community. She tries to show us how to draw drawings with Areca nut brush.

Today we begin the journey at 8.30 am. We crossed the river and we reached one coir making area. It’s like an island full of water. When we reached their, people started to make coir. we people also studied coir making technique. We had breakfast on their.

After that we went to another community they show us to making coconut milk and rise noodles then we had that .We return back to our shelter.

The third day of our trip, we went to other tribes houses its little far from our staying place, so we travelled by car. We saw people playing with Gumte. Gumte is a music instrument. The males are playing Gumte , after that we dance we sung and dance with them.

29-7- 2010

Our last day, we stay at our shelter till 3.30. At that time we people dance with Angola community and we talk with them. Angola women’s are strong. They sung and dance with them. Rest of the time we concentrate our research subject. My subject is Art facts and cultural Facts.

The end of the day we went to Hannovar beach. We enjoyed a lot in that beach. Only we people are on the beach. There was sizzling at that time.
